The Adult Social Fundraiser is a bi-annual event that is a fantastic opportunity to come together as friends, neighbors and a community to help support the Maria Hastings School and our children’s education. Timing of the event is usually some time in late fall/holiday, winter or early spring, so it doesn’t conflict with the early fall Hastings Harvest Run or other late spring/end of year events. Event Co-Chairs lead the event/planning and are supported by Committee members. Committee members provide support to Co-Chairs with solicitations and event planning tasks. It is a great way to get involved with a fun event, meet many new parents and make a big contribution to the PTO through fundraising. Did you know that many of the events and activities we take for granted at Hastings depend on the PTO? Big Back Yard, Arts Created Together, Science Fair, Fifth Grade Trips, and more all need the PTO.
