Spring conferences are coming in the next few weeks! The fifth graders and fifth grade parents will once again provide babysitting for kids of all ages (toddler and above) between 1 and 4 pm on conference afternoons: Thursday and Friday - 3/23 & 3/24 and Thursday and Friday 3/30 & 3/31. 

We will have gym games, board games, arts and crafts, and lots of fun for your kids while you meet with your child's teacher. 

Please use this signup to let us know when you would like to have babysitting available (it's non-binding but very helpful for planning purposes!). 

Funds go to the fifth grade team to support our end of year activities. Cost is $5/child/half hour, family max of $20. 

FIFTH GRADE PARENTS - please sign up here to help oversee babysitting, and sign your fifth grader up to watch the younger kids!

What a wonderful afternoon of performances on Sunday for the Talent Show! It was amazing to see students perform on the new stage! There were a variety of acts and everyone did so well - job well done to all our performers (and the parents who helped them)!

Huge thanks to our star hosts - Mrs Quinn, Mrs Garcia, Mrs Bishop and Mrs Davison! And we couldn't have had our show without the help of custodians Mr Giblin, Mr Monteiro and Mr Soparkar. 

Thank you to our lead parent organizers Lauren Kennedy and Christine Minihane. A special thank you to Ryan Kilgore and Hastings alum Rory Kilgore for keeping the music and stage running smoothly. Thank you to Julia Carey for the piano accompaniment and to all the amazing volunteers who helped during the rehearsals and the shows. Thank you for bringing the Talent Show back to Hastings!!

March Madness is well underway at Hastings! The whole school is participating in reading 4 picture books per week, and then voting for their favorites from the match-ups! 

The winners from Week 1 are Iver and Ellsworth, and Cubs in the Tub. 

The winners from Week 2 are:  Anni Dreams of Biryani and Knight Owl.These books will move on to the Elite Eight, the last week in March.

You still have time to book your beautiful photo shoot plus support Hastings! Book your session before April 1, 2023 quoting "Hastings" and 10% of total sales will be donated back to the Hastings PTO. Your session does not need to happen now -- any time this calendar year! That's right, spring, summer or fall!  

Andre will also waive the creative fee (up to $500 value) for 10 lucky families!

Join the Maria Hastings PTO for a night of Red Sox fun at Fenway Park!  Red Sox vs Cardinals, with tickets in the Right Field Grandstand at $42/ticket. Tickets are on a first come first served basis, and must be purchased by Friday, April 14. Tickets purchased will be emailed directly to your email address, with all sales final.
