Dear Hastings Community,

I have been in contact with Evan Beauvais' Family.  They just finalized the plans for a Funeral / Celebration of life ceremony for Saturday Dec. 16th at 11am at the First Church in Sterling MA.  The entire Hastings community is invited to this.  Mr. Beauvais' obituary can be found here.

The parents also would like any donations to be sent to World Central Kitchen (more information can be found at https://wck.org

I have created a google form for anyone who would like to share thoughts for Mr. Beauvais at the ceremony on Dec 16th. I will be representing the Hastings Community on Dec 16th.  I will be sharing statements at the ceremony to let Evan’s family know how much he was loved at Hastings. If anyone would like me to share a message on their behalf please submit your message on the google form.  

I have included a few questions you may want to use to formulate your thoughts, you can find them on the form.  You do not need to answer all of them, they are just there as a guide.  I will share all these thoughts with the family and print out all the responses.

The PTO is busy getting ready for a enriching and joyful 2024.  We will shortly be looking for additional pairs of hands to help with school events. Here are the big events that are to come:

January - Read-A-Thon

February - Science Fair

March - Talent Show

April - Arts Night

Look out for more information to come shortly.  In the mean time talk with your friends and plan to volunteer together!

The Lexington School Committee establishes educational goals and policies for the schools in the district, consistent with the requirements of law and statewide goals and standards.

The School Committee generally holds public meetings every two weeks on Tuesdays during the school year at the Central Office, 146 Maple Street.
