The Hastings PTO raises more than $60,000 (about $100 per student) each year!
The PTO serves to enrich our school community and hosts a variety of programs and events each year. These include:
- Educational enrichment – Big Back Yard, Read-A-Thon, Arts Night, Science Fair
- Arts Created Together, also known as ACT – Special Performances and Workshops
- Community enrichment events – Welcome Picnic, Spring Social, Summer Social
- Mini-grants and class funds for Grade level initiatives and classroom needs
- Scholarship funds to ensure that all community members can participate fully in school activities
