Welcome to the Maria Hastings PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) !
We are a community of parents, caregivers, teacher and staff who work together to enrich the school year and foster an inclusive and equitable environment for our students.
The PTO hosts an abundance of events and activities throughout the school year, including:
- Educational enrichment programs and events, such as our Big Backyard program, Arts Night, Science Fair, and Read-A-Thon.
- Arts and STEM enrichment provided by our Arts Created Together (ACT) program.
- School fundraisers, with community emphasis, such as the annual Harvest 5K Run/Walk, Spirit wear.
- Supporting school- run activities such as, picture day, field day and more.
To support our many activities, we rely on the efforts of many volunteers to deliver the programs and to raise the money needed to fund them. By volunteering you provide valuable support to the school community, develop relationships with the faculty and staff working with your children, and establish friendships that may last a lifetime.
